Chiropractic
Chiropractic care is a form of conservative treatment for the management of musculoskeletal complaints. Dr. Sarah employs a holistic approach to care, using a variety of techniques including soft tissue therapy, exercise, diversified, acupuncture and cupping.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an umbrella term for treatment using thin needles. Dr. Sarah uses dry needling and electroacupuncture to treat musculoskeletal conditions. Acupuncture with Dr. Sarah is billed under chiropractic, and is not offered at an additional fee.
Yoga
Sarah teaches hot yoga, vinyasa yoga, chair yoga, functional and mobility based classes. You can find a class with Sarah at HotShop in Victoria park or reach out to book a private class.

Eminent Wellness is located in Victoria park near the Calgary Tower. This is a multidisciplinary clinic offering chiropractic, athletic therapy, massage and acupuncture. My availability is Monday-Friday 9am-6pm.

About Sarah Strandholt
Sarah is the founder and owner of The Wellness Strand. She started the business in December 2020 offering online yoga classes. Sarah has expanded her brand to sell her favorite health and wellness products as well as chiropractic services.
Sarah is a licensed chiropractor and yoga instructor, and is certified in medical acupuncture. She completed her BSc, kinesiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax Nova Scotia, where her passion for movement and exercise began. She then went on to chiropractic school at Palmer College West, where she expanded on her knowledge of the human body and biomechanics. Sarah takes the holistic approach to care and believes there are solutions to everything. Sarah enjoys spending longer with her patients, offering 20 and 40 minute appointments so she can focus on soft tissue structures therapy, cupping, acupuncture, joint manipulation when applicable and exercise therapy. Sarah believes movement is medicine.
